Court Changes to E-Filing Starting Sept. 19
On September 19th, the Court will be implementing a few changes e-filers will need to be aware of. They are as follows.
Fix a PDF with Detected Errors
Upon upload of your PDF document, Green Filing scans your document in an effort to detect known attributes that will cause a rejection by the Utah State Court’s e-filing system.
E-file on a Sealed Case
Currently, the Utah State District Courts do not allow e-filing on sealed cases. All filing on sealed case must be completed by the traditional paper method.
View Your Filing Notifications
You can view your filing notifications at any time in Green Filing’s system.
Fix auto-rejected PDF documents the Court indicates are invalid
The Court recently made some upgrades to their system that will allow PDF documents containing the Court’s digital signature to submitted through the e-filing system.

The Court made upgrades to their e-filing system on June 8th, 2013 which now allows their software to “auto-reject” any document filings that do not meet their criteria.
5 Common Document Types the Utah Courts have Removed
The Utah Courts have removed 5 Common Document Types. Filers will receive a prompt indicating which document type should be used instead.
Utah Courts Now Require Party Street Address When Adding Parties
As of October 12, 2013 the Green Filing application must enforce a court requirement to make the street Address field required for all parties entered. If the address is Unknown, you may simply check the Unknown check box.
