Great news! On Monday, January 14th the Utah State District Courts will allow e-filing on Domestic cases statewide. You may e-file and initiate new Domestic cases, or e-file pleadings on existing domestic court cases.

IMPORTANT: To support e-filing in the Domestic case type, the Utah Courts and Green Filing will both be releasing new versions of our systems on Saturday, January 12th between the hours of 10:00 am MT and 5:00 pm MT. No filings may be submitted during this time.

In addition to allowing e-filing on the Domestic case type, the Utah Courts are making changes to several e-filing document types. These mostly pertain to document types requiring a judge or clerk review and are typically filed in Rich Text Format (.rtf) format. The Court has added the term (Proposed) after the document type description. By way of example:

  • Order will now be Order (Proposed)
  • Judgment will now be Judgment (Proposed)

We do not anticipate any problems as a result of the transition to Domestic e-filing, however, as with any change unexpected difficulties may arise. Please do not hesitate to contact Green Filing by phone at (801) 448-7268 or by email at support@greenfiling.com if you experience any problems at all.

Thank you so much. We look forward to continued e-filing success in the Civil, Criminal and now Domestic case types.
