Link New Filings to Existing Case Documents
Starting Thursday, May 10, 2018, the Utah Court’s allow for linking new filings in existing cases, and you can indicate which document relates to another document (i.e. a Response to previously filed Motion, or an Answer to a Complaint) both old and new. This information also displays on the case summary screen for your easy reference.
Run a Case List Report
The Case List screen allows the user to run a report for all cases on their account.
Notifications Older Than 45 Days Are Marked as Read
In the process of fine-tuning Green Filing’s system performance, all new notifications stored on your Notifications tab will automatically be marked as “Read” if they are 45 days or older.
Remove a drawing object, header or revision tracking from rejected RTF document
We have found a trick that seems to be working for 99% of documents that Court rejects indicating the document contains a drawing object, header or revision tracking.
Writ of Execution and Writ of Garnishment Status
We often receive inquiries as to why this particular filing has been pending for a few days. The courts do not send out an accepted notification until they have approved the Writ of Execution or Garnishment.
Notice of Appeal on an Interlocutory Appeal
To avoid running into issues when filing the Notice of Appeal on an Interlocutory Appeal, it is not necessary to select “Notice of Appeal”. The Courts would like filers to select the document type “Other”.
Case Type for Deposit of Excess Foreclosure Sale Proceeds
For a Deposit of Excess Foreclosure Sale Proceeds, select the case type Lien/Mortgage Foreclosure.
Judgment Information Statement
The Court would like you to file the Judgment information sheet separate from the Judgment.
File a Supplemental Order
To file a Supplemental Order with the court, follow these steps:
