While you can create a pleading with light weight applications like Notepad, WordPad, or Microsoft Works we do recommend more sophisticated document generation software like Microsoft Word or Corel WordPerfect. When you file a document, you are required to upload a PDF version of that document to the Court, and newer versions of Word and WordPerfect offer a simple Save As utility to facilitate that conversion.
