When filing a new complaint that Court has requested you follow some simple rules so that your filing may be effectively processed and a case created within the Court’s case management system without any problem or delay. Please be mindful of the following rules:

  1. Do not place any punctuation in the party name field (i.e commas, periods, or apostrophes). The one exception is that you may use hyphens.
  2. For business names please spell out, at a minimum, the first two words of the business name.
  3. For person names, do not enter professional or academic suffix titles such as DDS, MD, JD or Phd. If a business name contains these titles, then they are acceptable.
  4. Do not enter DBA’s in the same field as the actual company or person name. DBAs should be added by following the steps in this article – “How do I add a DBA when filing a complaint?
