For attorneys who represent government entities, and file on behalf of them, you may e-file without having to pay any Court filing fees. In order to do so, you must first contact Green Filing so that we may activate your attorney profile as a Government Filer. Once you are a government filer, you will have the option to request a fee waiver for your government filing before submitting your document(s). Here’s what to look for.
Filing on Existing Cases
When Filing on an Existing Case, for any filing requiring a Court filing fee, the prompt to enter a credit card for payment will still appear. However, in the Review and Submit section at the bottom of your filing, there is a check box titled Request fee waiver for government filing. Check that box to no longer be required to submit a credit card.
Initiating a Case
When Initiating a New Case, the prompt to enter a credit card for payment of Court filing fees still appears. However, in the Review and Submit section at the bottom of your filing, there is a check box titled Request fee waiver for government filing. Check that box to no longer be required to submit a credit card.
