To notify the Court of a party or attorney change on a case, users must file a document on the case indicating as such, and complete the following steps in the filing process:

  1. Begin a new filing, by clicking the Create New Filing link menu tab on the left hand side of the screen.
  2. Enter the case number for the case you are going to file on and make a attorney and or party change.
  3. After selecting the case, the system populates a drop down that allows filers to “select an actor” on the case. Select the party or attorney you wish to edit and click the View / Edit button.
  4. A pop screen will appear with required and optional fields for changing a party or attorney’s information. The court requires filers to enter a party role and party last name. The rest of the data is optional and you may view and edit that data by click the arrow next to Optional Fields.
  5. Once the system updates the data, click the Save button.
  6. Complete the rest of the steps to file you document and submit your filing to the court.
