The Third District Court has announced that Domestic Cases will no longer be filed based on geographic location in Salt Lake County as of August 19, 2019. All new domestic case filings will be assigned randomly between the Scott Matheson and West Jordan courthouses.
When filing a domestic case, please select Salt Lake City, and then the case will be randomly assigned to a judge in either Salt Lake or West Jordan.
If you choose West Jordan when filing a domestic case it will be rejected.
